Comfort Resort Waters Edge - Port Macquarie

The dining scene was a dream, especially the pizza at The Grill! Super fun vibe and close to Hastings Coffee Co for a caffeine kick. Our Beautiful Twin Room had amazing pool views, and those comfy beds were perfect after a day of exploring.

Unfortunately, the mini cyclone dashed vibes a bit. I get it, power outages happen, but a little check-in from staff would've been nice. My mates had a leaking room and no one came to help. The deck lights stayed off.

This hotel was good value. I really enjoyed well-appointed and extremely pleasant room with garden views. The staff was top-class and attentive, helped with every request. The location was magnificent and stunning, just a short stroll away from a historic courthouse.

Good value, you're getting exceptional service. It is set in a nice quiet area, walking distance to a cinema and a theatre.

Chur, the location was awesome by the water, but the room felt a bit dated and the pool could've used a clean. Still, the staff were lovely!

Qualityof the rooms, TV & channels, free wi fi in lobby, pool, deck area, bar area and restaurant, parking, view and interconnecting rooms. Very impressed overall.

Location: the hotel was just off public areas. The breakfast was hot and the parking was onsite...

A Room needs maintenance, limited restaurant hours

When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed to guests because of a function. They put us in a room right next to the function room and people were smoking and swearing on our balcony all night. Our children were kept awake as were we. We asked to be moved but were told they were booked out because of the function. When I rang the desk again at 11pm and it diverted to the manager at home he said "too bad" so I rang the police but they said it was on private premises and they couldn't do anything. The room was tired looking and filthy, with cobwebs all over the ceiling. It also was not a family room but a tiny double with bunk beds squashed in. The rudeness and lack of interest from the manager was appaling and he denied saying we could not eat in the restaurant. We had to strike it off as a bad experience and will tell everyone we know never to stay there. It was not worth $100 per night let alone $200. We don't mind spending $800 when we know what we are getting. WE are magazine publishers and will make sure clients know also.

Lack of adequate Air Conditioning, the bed was old and sagged in the middle, the one and only opening to fresh air was a door with no insect screen and inadequate security, the bathroom towels were paper thin and tiny, the pillows were old and did not provide adequate support !

The location by the river was beautiful and refreshing.

Our room was quite dated and showed signs of wear, including dirty carpets and markings on the walls. I found the staff's attentiveness during check-in lacking, which dampened the warm welcome I had hoped for.

i was there for triathlon and they had a function the night before which went until 11pm right outside our room was not told of function on arrival very angry will never stay there again.

Had a lovely stay! The location was perfect by the river, just a short walk to town. My room was spacious with nice views, although a bit dated. The pool area looked inviting but could use some cleaning. Would recommend for a chill getaway!

We loved the position, the outlook & the friendly staff. The bedroom very clean with most comfortable matress. The restaurant was welcoming and food delicious. We will return and recommend it.

That we didn't stayed long enough.

The receptionist (Tara or tamara) was absolutely awesome. She was able to assist us with all enquiries and made our stay extremely comfortable, and welcoming. She was very friendly and nothing we needed seemed to be a bother to her. I would definately stay again and highly recommend this hotel to others, especially after the service we received from the receptionist. She made it a most enjoyable stay. Thankyou

Wld have liked the beds to have a separate rooms within the room. Eg two bedroom. A toaster wld have been handy too.
